Route Wire Through Finished Walls with Minimal Cutting

The Jonard Tools MRS-24 MagneTriever is a magnetic wire-fishing kit designed to help installers route cable through finished walls using two small access holes. Its flexible 24-inch retriever features high-strength neodymium magnets that locate and capture the included ball chain inside the wall cavity.

Once the chain reaches the lower access opening, the expandable hook helps retrieve it so a pull string, wire, or cable can be attached and guided through the wall.

Simplify Finished-Wall Cable Installation

The MRS-24 helps reduce the amount of cutting, patching, and cleanup required when installing new cable inside an existing wall. The ball chain is dropped into the wall cavity from above and located at the lower access point using the flexible magnetic retriever.

After the magnet brings the chain to the opening, the expandable hook retrieves it so a pull string can be attached. The pull string can then guide the required cable through the wall without placing unnecessary stress on the ball chain.
