DEAD BOLT ELECTRIC FOR CONCEALED SECURITY

Description
  • Adds concealed deadbolt security to most wood or hollow metal doors,* with the added convenience of
    electrical operation.
  • Fail-secure operation (locks if power
    is lost).
  • Stainless steel bolt, 5/8" diameter,
    5/8" throw.
  • Includes control wire which allows for releasing without cutting
    unit's power.
  • Incorporates manual lock/unlock cylinder to operate the
    SD-997A-DQ
    if power is lost (turn lock knob from inside protected premises and/or use key from outside
    protected premises).
  • Door open/close monitor (NO/C/NC).
  • Magnetic switch senses door position for
    positive locking.
  • Solenoid attempts to lock several times and then shuts down if door not closed properly to prevent solenoid from burning out. Once door closed properly will
    automatically lock.
  • Use with an optional digital keypad for high security
    without a key.
  • Easily connects to
    SECO-LARM's SK-983A Electronic Keypad.
  • Suitable for office-type applications.
  • Shallow design for use with most metal
    door jambs.
  • No limiting installation orientation.
  • Powered by a solenoid.
  • Stainless steel for strength and long life Operatiing lifetime:
    1,000,000 operations.
  • Adjustable door lock delay timer -
    (0, 3, 5, or 9 seconds).
  • Power 12VDC, 880mA on activation,
    330mA on standby.
  • Over-current protection 1.5A.
  • With control wire which allows for releasing without cutting
    unit's power.
  • Stainless steel bolt, 5/8" diameter,
    5/8" throw.
  • Lock body (faceplate) dimensions - 7-7/8"x1-5/16"
    (200x32 mm).
  • Strike plate dimensions - 3-9/16"x1"x1-1/8"

  • Plug: Special conic cavity stainless steel
    (thickness 1.5mm~1.8mm).
*The SD-997A-DQ is designed for hollow metal door frames. It is not recommended for wooden door frames. However, the door can be wood or metal.
