Camden CX-EPD1299L Surface-Mount RIM Electric Strike with Preload

The Camden CX-EPD1299L is a heavy-duty, low-profile RIM electric strike engineered for demanding access-control applications. Its patented preload design allows the strike to release reliably under up to 15 pounds of pressure, helping maintain dependable operation when door misalignment, weather conditions, or building pressure places force against the strike keeper.

At only 9/16 inch deep, the CX-EPD1299L provides a clean surface-mounted installation without requiring a large frame cutout. Its universal design supports 12 or 24V AC/DC power, field-selectable fail-safe or fail-secure operation, and both left- and right-handed doors. Included 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch spacer plates accommodate latch projections up to 3/4 inch.

A plug-in latch-monitoring assembly provides door-security status for integration with access-control and alarm systems. The included metal mounting jig helps make installation faster and more accurate.
